Great mice and keyboard combos for gaming can be difficult to find. Logitech has always been a respected PC gaming brand, and I finally have the opportunity to evaluate the Logitech MK270, their keyboard and mouse combo.
Below you’ll find a summary of the product review, for those who just want to know what they’ll be getting with the Logitech Mk270 and after that, I have an in-depth review that thoroughly breaks down the MK270.
In-Depth Logitech MK270 Breakdown
Portable and Plug and Play
At just over a pound, the Logitech MK270 Wireless Combo includes a keyboard and mouse that incorporates the same reliable 2.4 GHz connectivity that eliminates delays, dropouts, and interference with a 30-foot range of motion. What comes in the box is a full-size spill-resistant keyboard, a carry around mouse, a Logitech’s Unifying receiver, batteries for mouse and keyboard, and the user documentation. Both devices are plug ‘n play (on Mac, Windows, and Chrome OS), so you can simply plug the low-profile receiver into a free USB port and you’ll be wirelessly typing and navigating in no time.
Long Battery Life
Both keyboard and mouse are powered by batteries so you can go for months without the hassle of changing batteries. The Logitech MK270 Wireless Combo connects to your PC using Logitech’s device-networking receiver that allows you to sync your keyboard and up to five additional compatible peripherals at once. The computer instantly recognizes both devices using the Unifying receiver without any software installation and allows you to perform basic typing tasks with reliable wireless connectivity.
The MK270 is the one for you if you’re looking for a basic mouse/keyboard combo with an attractive price, which allows you to access your media applications and work remotely at a distance from your computer. It offers a very decent keyboard and mouse combo with a three years warranty, making it a low-cost alternative to other more robust wireless keyboard and mouse sets. I would really not recommend this for advanced users, but if you’re looking to buy a wireless combo in this price tag, then I would definitely recommend this product.
There are also other products available in the market that would certainly serve the purpose, but all comes with a few drawbacks like a higher price tag, low wireless range, no indicators, bulky size, and reduced durability. For someone who’s on a budget and is looking for a versatile keyboard and mouse combo, the Logitech MK270 is an unbeatable deal.
